The Americas virtual design studio is the result of a collaboration between the main architecture schools of the American continent, the objective is to create a network of collaboration between the alumni and the professors of different countries. Every year the studio chooses a new site to develop a hotel, in this particular case, Eastern island in Chile was the host for the project.
4.1 The hotel explores the solitude of a single volume violently attached to the floor as a metaphor of the very same island.
