•I coordinated the execution of different projects in the office from the first sketches
to the construction site. My main task was finding solution for both the design
composition and the technical parts of the projects. I was also in charge of dealing with
contractors and engineers and present the work to the clients.
During my stay at the office I was mainly involved in following projects:
- “Alexander Von Humboldt” school.
- “Metrobús” line 2 stations.
- ”MM” Mixed used building.
- “Reforma 326” Luxury apartments.
- Mexico city subway’s line 12 stations.
- “Puerto Escondido” beach club.

- Culiacan convention centre.
- Guanajuato’s parliament building.

•As part of the research cluster 1 (led by Alisa Andrasek) we explored robotic
fabrication in architecture
•Graduated with distinction.
•Awarded with the “golden ear” and the “special Peter Cook award” for the best project
of the program.

•My thesis was selected as the best graduation project of my generation to compete in
the archiprix biennial in Montevideo Uruguay in 2008. The thesis was included in the
book “World best graduation projects” published by nai010 in Rotterdam in 2009 and
exhibited in Mexico City and Shanghai as part of an exhibition of students work.
•Selected to compete in the highly prestigious “22 National Award for architectural
composition Alberto J. Pani” organized by the “Universidad Nacional Autónoma de
México” where I was awarded with an honourable mention.
•Selected to compete in the “Virtual Design Studio” organized by “Texas A&M
University” where I obtained the second place.
•My work as a student was published in different magazines in Mexico.
•In 2006 I was part of an academic exchange with “Institut Superieur d’Architecture
Saint-Luc” in Brussels, Belgium.
Special Peter Cook Award, 1st Place
My project won the Special Peter Cook Award as the best project in the whole B-Pro which includes MArch Graduate Architectural Design, MArch Urban Design MA Architectural History
Golden Ear, 1st Place
My project won the golden ear as the best project in the MArch Graduate Architectural Design program at the Bartlett
Americas Virtual Design Studio, 2nd Place
The Americas virtual design studio is the result of a collaboration between the main architecture schools
of the American continent, the objective is to create a network of collaboration between the alumni and
the professors of different countries. Every year the studio chooses a new site to develop a hotel, in this
particular case, Eastern island in Chile was the host for the project.
22 National award to architectural composition, Honorable Mention
I was selected to compete in the highly prestigious “22 National Award for architectural
composition Alberto J. Pani” organized by the “Universidad Nacional Autónoma de
México” where I was awarded with an honourable mention.
