In this project, the concept was to separate users from urban life. Also, the existence of a border between human beings and nature seemed to be necessary to provide peace. For this reason, a transparent border was defined between man and nature. This building is a solitude in the heart of nature to which the enclosed urban man has taken refuge.
The main idea of the project is to create fluid boundaries and then form a solitude based on these boundaries. Therefore, in the process of forming, two yards were considered. Private courtyard and Solitude courtyard. In the Private courtyard, an attempt was made to place a natural quality on the intermediate border with the interior spaces with a continuous terrace. Therefore, this courtyard was connected to the volume of the building with a transparent wall. This intermediate boundary between the courtyard and the living room made it possible to create a variety of transparency and natural experiences along with the courtyard.
The Solitude courtyard was located in the backyard of the building so that, it could provide a more intimate connection with Nature on a smaller scale. This courtyard provides a poetic experience by creating solitude. The poetic connection is created by playing between the yards and the fluidity of the vision in between. While the view between the two yards is fluid, the privacy of private spaces is also maintained. Therefore, in this building, we see various boundaries that expanded the fluidity of vision in a controlled way.
Due to the importance of natural space to man-made space in this project, we considered a minimum physical plan for it with only a single floor. A unique and attractive view of the surroundings caused a view that was designed to watch on the project rooftop. Therefore, from the roof, you can see the surrounding scenery with the utmost pleasure.
In fact, in this project, an attempt was made to live among the spectacular nature in a demarcated solitude. The intermediate boundaries formed between an urban man and rural Nature. The name of the project "Villa De" has been chosen based on the prefix (DE), which means separation from the life of the current cities and solitude in the heart of nature.
