Here I would like to point out an example of creative problem solving dealing with the delivery/restroom corridor. Deliveries were typically made on a cart, that when navigating the long and narrow corridor, would slam into the walls and cause damage. As this was also the corridor leading to the restrooms the client wanted the walls to be clad with a material that was not only durable but that reflected the high end aesthetic of the office. The solution was to use a porcelain tile typically used for floor surfaces that would stand up to heavy abuse. The result was quite impressive and I am pleased to report that after 10 years of use the walls are still in great condition!
