Resting on top of a multi-story structure this is the first and only ice rink in the world constructed on top of an existing, occupied building. In addition to the two NHL size ice rinks, the training center was designed for other sports industry professionals including by the WNBA Washington Mystics. The LEED certified design of this architecturally challenging, structurally complex, training facility serves as the benchmark for future urban development projects throughout Arlington County.
