Lee University Forum

The Forum project site is located at the end of a quadrangle formed by three academic buildings and overlooks the lacrosse field. The tower is central to the newly developed South Campus, including three buildings by RCA. The Forum tower structure straddles an open base using 36” deep beams connected to the side walls creating a 3100 S.F. reception space for events, including serving and storage facilities. The 2300 S.F. plaza level has an overlook designed for  performances and open air assemblies. The plaza level has an octagon pavilion which serves as a buttress for the bell tower. The clock tower houses a large open seven bell array . The design incorporates the campus Georgian Architectural Standards to complement the surrounding buildings.
