Frederick Law Olmsted's firm designed Riverside Park in Buffalo in 1898 and designated a location and rectangular footprint for a shelter house, which was never built. The Buffalo Olmsted Parks Conservancy desires to build a new shelter house on the historic location, and I designed one based on the dimensions of the footprint on the plan, with the appearance based on other park buildings built in Buffalo at the same time since there were no architectural drawings ever done for this structure.
