In 2012, I spent a semester abroad in Rome.  Our studio placed a focus on Urban Space, and my project was about the transformation of a Roman piazza.  Typical Roman piazzas are located on the ground level, and the project elevates the program above the ground plane through techniques utilized in Piazza di Spagna, otherwise known as the "Spanish Steps".  

The graphic image is a rendering of the transformed space which was generated through the use of Photoshop, Illustrator, and Rhino (CAD).
