Gut renovation and revitalization of historic landmark theater originally built in 1921. Initial phase involved new concessions, new theater seating and interior finishes, completely new bathrooms and reconstructed back-of-house, new media room, reconstructed and expanded double-height lobby and restored barrel-vault, and new roof. While undergoing restoration, the original building oculus windows (previously hidden in the main theater) were replaced with accurate reproductions complete with new motorized blinds. Also, the original double-hung wood windows were revealed along with the original brick piers in the theater. New lighting, electrical and sprinkler systems were installed and a subsequent phase included the addition of a completely new and expanded stage.
