This is a house that I designed for client who enjoys deep sea diving. I was inspired by the this surrealistic painting. After couple of model- making, I came up with the overall concept. The UFO-like shape became a spiral-stairs that became the center of the building, and layers of tides coverted to four storey levels. This is a weekend house located at the cliff in California where the tides are low and water is warm.
