Garli & Pragpur is a hidden, microcosmic settlement in the
Himachal foot hills of the Himalayas. This settlement has over
the past three hundred years developed a uniquely rich
vernacular architecture.

This villages have a lot to teach us about living in cold
climates. While the way of life here is fast changing, our team
of 21 undergraduate students spent two months documenting
their changing patterns and the dying built form.
