Williamsburg Wetlands

Williamsburg Wetlands the concept uses the idea of wetlands as a buffer between new and the existing to regulate the ground water table, irrigate the land and purify the water naturally, before releasing into Hudson river.

Introduction  of Natural pools with Bio-top effect will help develop the site along the east river, as a new recreation and leisure hub.
It will also establish am continuous spacial corridor from Navy yard all the way to Greenpoint, as well as new connections (vehicular and visual) to Manhattan and inland.
Introducing forests living on the new islands that provide a contrast to the concrete jungle of Manhattan with a green roof.

Domino Sugar factory in the in the neighborhood is kept as an urban ruin and the with pedestrian and vehicular traffic passing through it.
