City realestate values are so expensive that green spaces are shunned from the urban design of city centers by investors because they are seen as non profitable usage of space, neglecting its social and environmental catastrofic implications. Thus by the strategic insertion of green spaces that function as vertical lungs and safe recreational passageways that are integrated into the existing framework of buildings a new urban fabric is created, based on the pedestrian and not the automobile.
