The Thompson house is the residence of a husband and wife with two teenage boys.  They are a modern family with a sleek and contemporary style.  The design of the house was influenced by the Untitled art piece by Minimal artist Donald Judd.  The indoor courtyard and light element throughout the house was inspired by the hollow boxes in the art that give the piece a light airy feeling.
