Nature’s Touch Cancer Center is designed around the work of Environmental artist Andy Goldsworthy. The pieces I am most drawn to are the ones that represent the circular form with the use of leaves and land. In one art piece, he pins green leaves together, arranging them in a spiral form and captures it as it flows downstream. It is the transition of the leaves that I find most beautiful about the piece. In every moment there is a change that creates a new form. I feel this idea can be inspiring for patients that are
battling cancer. The recovery process is a transitioning time for patients and their family and is an important time for growth and rebuilding hope.
