THE VITAMINWATER SOCIALCLUB WAS A TEMPORARY POP-UP VENUE CREATED BY VITAMINWATER IN CONJUNCTION WITH ANTARCTIC CREATIVE IN SEATTLE’S VIBRANT CAPITOL HILL NEIGHBOR- HOOD. THE VWSC WAS A BOUTIQUE VENUE CREATED TO ENGAGE/INTERACT WITH THE COMMU- NITY AND CITY AT LARGE. WITHIN ITS MONTH-LONG DURATION, ANTARCTIC AND VITAMINWATER COLLECTIVELY PROGRAMMED 66 EVENTS IN TOTAL.
I DESIGNED THE SPACE TO EMPHASIZE VITAMINWATER’S VISION OF COMMUNITY ENRICHMENT AND INTERACTION. I BASED THE WHOLE CONCEPT AND DESIGN AROUND SOCIAL MEDIA AND HOW WE INTERACT AND COPE WITH THIS EVER-CHANGING DIGITAL ENVIRONMENT. I HAD A TIGHT LOAD IN/ BUILD TIME OF A DAY AND A HALF. I SCHEDULED AND WORKED WITH CONTRACTORS TO PREFABRICATE ALL MATERIALS OFF SITE AND SCHEDULE COMPLETE ASSEMBLY ON SITE. FOR THIS PROJECT I WORKED WITH A TEAM OF DESIGNERS, CONTRACTS, CITY PLANNERS, ARTIST, PR PROMOTIONS, VITAMIN WATERS TEAM, THE TEAM AT THE EVENT SPACE, AND THE SEATTLE COMMUNITY. I DEVELOPED 3D MODELING, CONSTRUCTION DOCUMENTS, MATERIAL BOARDS, CONCEPT BOOKS, SKETCH UP MODELS, COMPUTER AIDED PHOTOS COMPLEX BUDGETS, WORK ORDERS, AND PRODUCTION TIME LINES. I DEVELOPED AND BUILT LARGE-SCALE CUSTOM ART INSTALLATIONS, LIGHTING FIXTURES, INTERACTIVE PIECES, AND CUSTOM FURNITURE TO BE FEATURED WITHIN THE SPACE.
