The opportunity was to design a wall that is in Chicago with a facade facing due South.  The wall was to simulate actual material properties of architecture as well as include a structural system to support it.  The interest of the group was to begin with a sketch of curves that we beleived interacted well with the light during all seasons.  We controlled the light by allowing low light during the summer to reuce heat, and allowed ample light in the winter, to give a feeling of warmth in the space.
