The acrylic Press Lamp was designed and built as part of a product design and manufacturing process course.  The process of making each lamp combines properties of digital and traditional hand craft.  Each Press Lamp produced (while formally the same) is characteristically unique due to the heat and press manufacturing process.  Multiple lamp prototypes were produced before its current state.
