A 1930s era residence and estate was designed by Gold Coast society architect Bradley Delehanty with landscape design by Isabella Pendleton. A significant amount of the 18,000 square foot house was adapted to the use of a modern family while maintaining the integrity of the original design. A Conservatory addition links a new Kitchen to a renovated Family Room space. The main family bedrooms were renovated and the original servants-wing was reconfigured into additional guest bedrooms. The other major component of the project were the nearly 8 acres of grounds where significant earthwork was required to both restore original view corridors as well as implement a new recreation program that included a Pool with subterranean Poolhouse and a Tennis Court. An original open Porch was restored and updated as well as a significant redesign of the original motor court.
