A full gut-renovation in a signature Park Avenue building called for a showcase entry with a custom stone stair.  The intricate stonework had to be coordinated with a minimal glass railing with integrated lighting.  I designed and directed the fabrication of this unique element coordinating with engineers, fabricators, and master stone craftsmen.  A Carlo Scarpa inspired railing was recessed into the wall as a carved element, with bespoke metal details.
