French Sole, a high end European shoe brand, has been trying to expand its market to the US by opening stores in Florida and New York. We wanted to look at our design from the angle of theatricality, a retail space can be seen as being similar to a stage. Lighting and drama are all parts of the experience to which the clientele respond.

The program called for a retail space that could accommodate displaying at least 120 styles of shoes, various hand bags and accessories, and displays for jewelry.
