This project is located in a small city and in a walkable distance to the central park of the town. Some big mall, supermarket and retails are around the central park, which form the CBD of the town. So, it seems that the proposed commercial street has to face the compitition from the old commercial facilities. However, the advantage of the site is that it is surrounded by three large housing neighborhoods which could provide with a stable customer resource. So complementary and mutually beneficial should be the strategy for the project and it would also play a role as glue to establish more connection between neighborhoods.
