Before studying at University of Southern California, I granted my Bachelor of Engineering degree in architecture in China. I worked for my professor in the last two years of my undergrad and had an internship in a local architectural firm for half year. During this period, I mainly worked on modeling and construction documents drawing. These experiences offer me more knowledge, vision and sense about architecture in real world.
Since I studied at the school of architecture in USC, in order to enrich my abilities to explore the parametric architecture, I have learned Grasshopper, Processing and Rhino Scriptting. I also took a studio instructed by Roland Snooks who is specialized and well-known in the field of emergent architecture. All of these greatly help me diversify my academic experience and skills as an architect. I am also better capable of understanding how the parametric technology influences the design process of architecture.
My enclosed resume clearly shows I have a variety of qualifying skills and abilities compatible with positions as an Architect. Briefly, they are:
• Knowledge of professional architecture design skills. A proven record of success achieved through diligence, hard work.
• Sufficient computer-aided design and modeling skills, such as Auto CAD, Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Rhino, Processing, Grasshopper, Robot Structural Analysis, Digital Project, Sketch up, V-ray, Maxwell and so on.
• Considerable experience in the field of architecture and urban design.
• Fluent in English and Chinese and positive attitude makes me an effective communicator with people whom I work with.
