This project is an evolution of my earlier concept for an indoor/outdoor sand volleyball facility. In this version, I’ve modified the program to accommodate NCAA sand volleyball competition at a University. The primary driving concern still remained for openness in the summer time and plenty of natural daylight during the winter time.

A few key features include:
Hangar doors on all four sides
Operable roof/skylight
Seating capacity for 4,000 spectators
Clear span structure for optimum viewing
A viewing balcony connected to outside patios on the 2nd floor

The program consists of: (3) NCAA sand volleyball courts, (8) concession stands, (4) locker rooms (men & women / Home & Visiting Teams), (5) Ticket booths at each entrance, Seating capacity for 4,000 spectators, and (4) outdoor patios on the 2nd floor.
