PROGRAM:
Two level restaurant with office space

The program for this building is a restaurant on the lower two floors with office space on the remaining two stories.  A balcony on the second floor for the restaurant allows outdoor seating overlooking the street.  The main concept of the design was to create a façade that comfortably relates to the other buildings on the street yet has its own identity through a series of layers.  A protruding central vertical core is used as a hierarchical element against the main face of the building.
