The sky scraper project, consisted in building the first skyscraper complex in Guatemala city. It consisted of 4 sky scrapers each one designed by a different group member, all of them forming a complex which worked accordingly to the client's needs. The first skyscraper was design by me, it was 70 stories tall, it included apartments, offices and shopping area. The biggest challenge was to design the vertical circulation which separated all the different uses of the building, and designing a parking lot big enough to satisfy the four buildings. The skyscraper was designed in a seismic zone, for which its structure consisted of a tube on tube layout. It was considered the design part, the structure function, electrical an plumbing installations, and financial analysis.
