This is the proposed Center for Deep Sea Marine Biology and Marine Seismology. The center is located on a large causeway extending out into the Santa Monica bay, allowing for direct contact with marine life. The structure itself is created from a series of skins which when combined create a structural lattice of pixelated hierarchy.
