The conditions of the site, triangular with inclination towards one side, allow us to use the topography to generate two squares at different altitudes. The bottom gives access to all the permanent shops whose passable roofs generate the upper square.
One of the main aspects of the project has been to maintain this "idea of square" as a large covered atrium that receives the part of the "more open" program market and provides the most direct contact with the perimeter streets.
The cover is the protagonist that will give character and unity to the building and strengthening the idea of the market as a public space: open and covered. A deck that is rooted in the Earth, becomes its own square forming an interesting link between square, market and city.
