The University of Puerto Rico’s  Continuing Care Retirement Community offers residents a full spectrum of care from independent living apartments to assisted living and long-term care. Retired or incapacitated professors and administrators will enjoy the peace of mind in knowing that whatever level of care they may need in the future, it is available to them. Separated from the main campus by Barbosa Ave, the design created a series of sunken patios that blocked the sound and contamination from the street while maintaining a public facade with shops and farmacy.
