The design is for a 2000sf addition to the existing Morrison Hall building which is being converted into the new admissions center.  The design concept for the addition consists of two wedge shaped volumes that intersect with a keystone in the middle.  The angle of the main volume reflects the angle of the existing main road, while the opposing volume pierces through to create two distinct viewing platforms.  The datum of brick on the ground level of the existing facade is continued into the new addition and acts to tie the new geometries and materials with the existing building.  The bold and iconic design acts as a beacon for new and potential students.
