Arc 451: City of Tucson Bus Shelter Prototype

The Bus Shelter Prototype Project is a design-build challenge That was undertaken by An Arch 451 studio Class. The studio was orientated towards exploring a  performance based design through the development of an adaptive modular system for local bus shelters. The design considered the extreme environmental conditions, use, economy, and codes (ADA/building/transit) of the city of Tucson. This Project required a close working relationship with the City of Tucson Department of Transportation exposing students to the client/architect relation that is essential to the  profession.
