Land Art Energy Generator

The project is to design land art in a left over space between freeway exchanges in the heart of Los Angeles. This installation / art form, must generate a phenomenon which serves local and global functions. In addition, energy generation components are also incorporated.
The layers within the project are determined by the edge of cones of vision extracted from the adjacent freeways. The top layer is a series of wind turbines which satisfies the energy generation requirement. The cores of these turbines are glass prisms which break down natural daylight into respective colors under the laws of optical physics. The layers below then enhance this phenomenon through reflection, refraction, and absorption, creating an ever-changing atmosphere in the space below.
