With a view in the future, the program proposed for this area is aimed to create housing at the same time that connects the various layers of topographical territory, from its morphological differentiation.
Instead of creating a new location for the deployment the houses, was elected a pre-existing building to recover in the Right Street of Marvila with industrial characteristics, which was converted in a house building, keeping all its original features.
The site chosen for the implementation of the houses is a place of high elevation that extends to a lower elevation where the railway line lies. This location allows visual relationships with much of the territory. This relationship at first was not physical , but it can be a catalyst for a future relationship that will break the great separation made by the railway infrastructure.
The building chosen to receive the proposal of 9 houses assumes interesting plastic features, like the exposed brick in two of its sides, as well as the slope of the roof in two waters and its scale
These houses were developed, conceived, conceptualized taking into account a purpose of minimizing the area, giving you the basic inhabitability and comfort that a domestic space requires, but stressing always the concept of "minimal."
This thought about the minimum does not invalidate a very concerning thought about the volumetry. On the other hand the choice of materials and windows further highlights the purpose of the minimum and the volumetric exponential. It means that the spatiality is unobscured by the volumetry.

Constructively, and once the building is run down, it was opted for an intervention that does not hurt or mischaracterize the existing building. As the existing wood slab was very degraded, it was decided to make a new one. For this, steel pillars were placed along the existing brick pillars, on which they erected a new slab of concrete.
The outside slab also works as an extension, not of the houses but of the garden, assuming a public space.
