The Launch Pad Project started as a 4th-year studio project at the University of Colorado, and is currently the lead design for the eco-pre-fab assembly line, the LaunchPad Project LLC. The Launch Pad is a $80,000 off-the-grid global home, perfect for worldwide travel, as well as immediate disaster relief. Made from entirely ecologically responsible products, the launchpad is created in a zero waste facility that is able to recycle its own waste into the next model. Designed to be shipped with minor adjustment, these modular units can be located almost anywhere.
