The 4th Bin was a design competition in New York City to encourage recycling of electronic waste. The 4th Bin is a means by which e-waste is responsibly collected.  Located next to existing recycling bins for paper, plastic, and metal. The intent is to see a clearly labeled 4th bin placed centrally in every building in New York City, and eventually all across the country.
