As part of a big turistic development, the Manaos hotel was concieved as an iconic form due to its proximity to the local highways in Cuernavaca, Morelos. The site is a lush tropical paradise and this was the main force that drove the formal aspect of the project. All rooms have a view to the gardens and landscape, also to the private villas that are located in the lagoon of the complex. An 8 story atrium made out of local wood, welcomes visitors to the hotel.
