A CONCEPT FOR A BUILDING TEST FACILITY ALONG THE HEART OF CHICAGO’S INDUSTRIAL CORRIDOR. SET BY THE CALUMET RIVER, THE FACILITY IS A SPECTACLE OF A RESEARCH SITE FOR BUILDING TEST. IT CONSISTS OF TEST SUCH AS; FACADE TEST, EARTHQUAKE TEST, FIRE/BLAST TEST, ETC. ONCE THE BUILDING AND BUILDING MATERIALS ARE TESTED, THEY ARE EITHER RECYCLED OR SHIPPED OUT FOR CONSTRUCTION USE VIA THE MAIN INDUSTRIAL TRANSIT SYSTEMS NEAR BY. THE FACILITY IS OPEN NOT ONLY TO RESEARCHERS, BUT TO INVESTORS AND TO THE GENERAL PUBLIC AS WELL.
