A CANOPY INTERVENTION FOR AN ATRIUM SPACE IN THE SPITZER SCHOOL OF ARCHITECTURE BUILDING. THE PROJECT CALLED FOR A DESIGN THAT WOULD WORK WITH THE LIGHTING AND ACOUSTIC CONDITIONS. A SYSTEM OF CONTOURING AND SECTIONING, DESIGNED AND FABRICATED THROUGH GRASSHOPPER SCRIPTING, WAS CREATED TO WORK WITH THE SPACIAL CONDITIONS, AND PROVIDE A BETTER ENVIRONMENT FOR PUBLIC GATHERING
AND DISPLAYS.
