The completely revitalized facility combines new construction with a seamless renovation. Featuring a spacious ballroom that seats 600 at banquet, and associated conferencing facilities, an expanded bookstore, a variety of new food service venues, student association and activities offices, and a wide range of comfortable lounge areas, the rejuvenated building has become the heart of student activity on the Brookings, SD campus.

The center of the revitalized student union is a new “Main Street” that features student government, activities, bookstore, information, food court, coffee shop, and internet café all prominently located in glass store fronts.
