The Southeast Alabama Medical Center project is a multi-phased expansion and renovation of the existing facility to include a women's center, parking deck and central energy plant replacement and Surgery/ICU Tower.  The Women's Center includes a 20 bed LDRP with a diagnostic component and level II Nursery.  The five-story Surgery/ICU Tower will hold 18 new operating rooms, recovery areas, and a replacement lab and a 32-bed critical care floor.  The project also includes a 500 car parking deck with a connecting bridge to the Women's Center.
