5Th-Year Group Project

This project is located in the capitol hill district of seattle, with a focus on alternate methods of transportation.

The building is situated around a proposed transit hub with the stated goal of encouraging inhabitants to use the transit system instead of their personal vehicles. The development includes both high-end and affordable housing, destination and everyday retail, a grocery store, and an office complex.

Our group focused on creating a space that is comfortably scaled for the inhabitants, and that provides for the everyday needs of the inhabitants to reduce the need for travel.
