A small municipal center and community gathering area for Seattle’s Columbia City neighborhood. An outdoor space is provided to accommodate a local farmer’s market. Buildings accommodate community meeting rooms, a small municipal office building and an indoor-outdoor performance space. A metal mesh structure creates a pathway across the site, connecting the main street to an adjacent park and inviting the community to use the plaza as an extension of community space.
