SaBoDiCe (Sacramento Botanical Discovery Centre) was designed as a symbol to what a museum should be for the modern individual in the eco-friendly world of the future. Designed as the flagship structure in South Pacific Park. The major design goals for this project was to have the building serve the city, blend into the existing site and incorporate the existing structures on the site into the new complex. Being the flagship structure and a new age civic building, SaBoDiCe will house both observational and experimental exhibits. SaBoDiCe will also include an indoor living machine, massive galleries and green roof that doubles as an extension to the surrounding park.
