An existing barn was transformed into a luxury residence.  The concept was to reflect the existing structure's heritage while expanding and reconfiguring it such that the new portions were offset 45 degrees to the existing.  The large hillside also made it ideal for the family room wing to be suspended over the drop, increasing the views of the nature preserve below.
