I have had the opportunity to be a key team member and leader of numerous projects ranging from small pool houses to 30,000 sq. ft. estates, to 72-unit multi-family projects, restaurants and retail, hotels, healthcare, commercial, theaters, religious, sports facilities, cruise ship interiors, and many others. I have also been involved in a range of other capacities such as:  programming, concept generation, presentations, visualizations, zoning analysis, urban and master planning, and code and ADA compliance, as well as comprehensive construction document production and detailing, and even periods of commissioning and construction management. Design paradigms within these projects have ranged from historic to clean and contemporary.  I feel fortunate that my design experience is complemented by extensive involvement in all stages of the architectural process, and I always enjoy the opportunity to get my hands or feet dirty as well as creating on the computer.

On a personal note, I have been involved with a number of infrastructure improvements and programs in Rwanda with Hospitals of Hope: Rwanda. I have assisted in developing a replacement hospital in Rubavu, Rwanda, for a catchment area of over 2 million people, as well as the hands-on construction of individual homes, efforts to improve the road system, and educating farmers in sustainable farming techniques. I believe that these efforts, and the relationships developed through them, have helped to shape who I am as a person and have had a significant influence on my approach to design and project execution.
