The modern library has become now a social living space for its users and is no longer necessarily defined by the books found on shelves. It’s open, accessible and requires no special things from its visitors except to gain knowledge and impact on the society. However, the environment and organization of the library has radically been impacted by the emergence of social, economic and technological changes in the society.
This project, titled ‘Learn + Grow’, seeks to explore how modern libraries can assist its users connect with productive gardens and create a form of care and increased focus. It brings together the traditional library and garden and creates relationships that can effectively achieve forms of education and social interaction could only help in improving forms of care and connection to nature.
