The project's design draws inspiration from the concept of an "oyster", which comprises different layers that provide protection and flexibility. The design of the center comprises an outer shell for "protection" (canopy), a "flexible" inner layer (track), and "a pearl" (buildings) that respond to Doha's climate while providing spaces for both formal tournaments and recreational activities. The center includes two main buildings: one for sports like handball, basketball, and volleyball, and another for public use with a fitness room, exhibition space, cafe, and multipurpose room. The elevated track not only connects the two main buildings but also acts as a giant ramp linking the metro station to the Cornel. By harmoniously blending form and function, the design creates a unique and memorable experience for visitors while serving as a symbol of innovation and progress in the heart of Doha.
