The project idea is to realize a peaceful meeting place, respectul of all the tribes of Sedhiou and perfectly integrated with the surrounding landscape. An architecture defined by simple and pure shapes, which responds to clear requests for constructon’s ease and cheapness, using environmentally friendly materials. The accessibility to the area is bound by two streets, which define the only accesses. For this reason, the project have to comply these forced flows for users, in order to make easier for them to go in and out the center. The open space, destined to performances and exhibiton, has a circle shape, because the african culture is strictly referred to the idea of circular exhibitons, where the circle is define by the audience. Moreover, the circle is the most democratic shape in geometry, it has no preferred and hierarchic point of views.
