Corporativo UNO

The Corporativo UNO project aims to create a healthy and sustainable work environment that fosters people's productivity and well-being, through the use of natural elements and the integration of nature into workspaces. Currently, many studies have shown that the presence of plants and other natural elements in indoor spaces can significantly improve the physical and mental health of collaborators, reduce stress, and increase productivity. Interior architecture is no longer a box design, we are now looking for monumentality, freedom and utilitarian dynamism.

Sustainability, far from being a luxury, should be the only way we design, the focus on sustainability, and the low carbon footprint is a fundamental part of our project. All materials used in the construction and design of our spaces were carefully selected and evaluated to ensure their minimal impact on the environment. We also make sure to use sustainable construction and design techniques, such as the use of renewable energy and recycled materials.

The selection of materials and finishes from the carpets allowed us to create the reminiscences of the mangroves and beaches that abound in the area, allowing us to create infinite views that merge with the spectacular views towards the mangroves and lagoons. All carpets contain more than 70% recycled nylon, along with a backing that allows us to release the humidity that the space can have due to the change in temperatures.

The lighting that is inspired by the curves of the cenotes, creates dynamic and gentle shapes that help us feel a more open and uncovered space, helping with a saving of 80% since they all work with LED technology. The entire project prioritizes the social areas and work areas by means of changing materials and forms in lighting, seeking to generate a collaborative environment at all levels.

All woods and laminates are fast-growing, which helps us mitigate our carbon footprint and encourage responsible wood use. Creating a symbiosis between nature and high technology.

The challenge we managed to promote was a corporate culture of environmental care and social responsibility. We believe that by embedding sustainability into our workspaces and everyday practices, we can inspire others to follow our lead and promote positive change in our community and the world at large. Cancun is the spearhead in the hotel industry, but now also in its aspects such as corporate culture to create healthy, sustainable and socially collaborative spaces.

We hope that this project will be an inspiring model for others and contribute to creating a healthier and more sustainable future for all.
