The studio's challenge was to design and construct an affordable, three-bedroom, two-bath, 1200 sq. ft. home that could achieve LEED Gold certification. Students developed design ideas and selected one for further development and construction. After the proposal was selected, we developed the construction documents for the house to be built, and the following semester a team of students worked exclusively on site in the Central City neighborhood.
